It has a grip safety, slide lock, and hammer safety that as far as I can tell is exactly styled to the Colt 1911. Surrounding the oval from 10 oclock postion all the way around underneath to the 2 oclock position is a vine or wreath of some sort. Inside oval, two hands clasped with a staff of some sort vertical behind them. There is an emblem stamped that is oval with a sun (with eyes and nose) on top of the oval. Right side of slide stamped: EJERCITO ARGENTINO.īelow that: SIST. Left side of slide stamped D.G.F.M - (F.M.A.P).this is exactly including parenthesis (Have not actually shot gun yet, only dry fire) and the grip has about a 1/2" of itself missing, broke horizontil at the screw. The trigger is a long way from being butter smooth, but feels consistant and decent.much like a new GI springfield. There is a little light rust in the receiver portion of the slide. Blueing worn off signifigantly, slide is not real tight (but I think that might be normal). The pistol is in rather "rough" condition. ![]() Help with info, age, and value would be much appreciated. At this time, I don't own a 1911 style, but would like to. This belongs to a good friend of mine who never shoots it and I am thinking of purchasing from him. Hey out there.funny, I went to post this and someone just ahead of me with a very similar.
